PURPOSE OF FLUID POWER HOSE ASSEMBLY
This programme is aimed at the transfer of skills in the make-up of hydraulic pipe assemblies and the use of proper connectors while ensuring safety, as this remains a primary consideration in the assembly process.

EXIT LEVEL OUTCOMES:
On completion of this qualification learners are able to:
- Identify hose and fluid power connectors
- Make up hydraulic hose assemblies
- Install, test and maintain a basic hydraulic system
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must be between 18 – 29 years of age
- Candidates must be a South African citizen
- Minimum passed Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science with a minimum 40 % pass mark
- Advantageous is N2-N6 Engineering
